Green!

I painted the rooms of the nursery green yesterday. When covering the entire room, it looks like a completely different colour than the patch we created using the “tester” pot… Georgina wasn’t sure at all that it’s the right colour, so I’m not going to paint the second coat until she’s sure!

Painting

It’s Saturday and I have a brush and roller in my hand again :) I’ve done the ceiling for the nursery and now need to do the undercoat on the walls.

I could get used to this!

We took a client out to lunch at a local pub today. Was very nice. That’s been two trips to the pub on the company this week! Darren and I will have to collude and come up with more excuses to make this a regular occurence…

Oops

Discovered today that noone at the company picks up mail to “root” on our post server… 58000(ish) emails were the cause of it running out of disk space…

Sorted it out eventually and now redirect all mail to root to a real email box :)

Update: missed a zero out – there were fifty eight thousand emails to sort out..

A "non" day

Today was one of those non-days. I seemed to work fairly hard all day and had nothing to show for it by the end. I think it’s related to having a meeting halfway through the day which buggers up my train of thought for the entire afternoon.

We did work out how we are going to do web site stats for our customers though which is good. I think the information we will be providing will actually be quite useful to them too.

Problems

Seems that there may be a potential problem with acids in Georgina’s bloodstream :(

As a result she’s going to have to go to the hospital twice a week for tests to ensure everything’s ok. Not good news.

Hills

My conclusion about cycling so far is that every road and cycle path is going either up or down a hill… I had quite a good journey each way though and didn’t actually have to stop and have a breather going up “big hill”!
