The next version of the Firefox web browser is out and very nice it looks too.

We had a builder come around today to look at the plans for the extension. He’s gone away and will come back with a quote and an estimate on how long it will take. I tried to contact another builder too, but he was in Malta and came back this weekend. I left a message on his answerphone and will call him tomorrow to try and get him to quote too.

I hope the quote is affordable!

Georgina and I have just drunk a rather nice bottle of Argentinian red wine :)

I have now put up the border and it looks great. Just need to give the door a second coat of paint and touch up a few bits of the walls and then I’m done…

We’ll have to get a joiner in to give us a quote for installing a wooden floor soon.

Jon seems to be really enjoying nusery so far. Today he had lunch at nursery with his friends and loved it. Georgina made him sandwiches in the shape of gingerbread men which he loved. He seems to be quite gegarious there as he keeps telling Georgina about his new friends and she doesn’t recognise most of the names!

My voice has been “dodgy” all weekend and I’ve not been feeling especially well for most of it. Of course, now it’s Monday morning, my voice is back, though quite croaky. Going to go into work and see how it goes.

I did manage to paint the woodwork in the bathroom yesterday which was good. Haven’t looked at it yet to see if it’s good enough or if it needs another coat. Whilst doing it though, I noticed that some bits of the walls by the edges need a bit more work. Also, need to put the new blind up at the window. All in all though, it definitely feels like the work on the bathroom is in the final strait.

Had a sore throat yesterday morning.

Had meetings all day.

Had lost my voice by 5pm.

Went to pub in evening with Georgina :)

Done the walls over the last two evenings. They are very lilac and look nice. Woodwork next…
